So writer’s block came around and slapped me in the face once again. It’s not like I don’t have things to say either because I’ve had several ideas pop up in my mind but I’ve been completely unable to put them to words. I think have a good idea of why I never manage to catch my ideas too and that in itself could be another post.. if only I manage to put it into words! Anyway, in order to try and get rid of this miserable feeling I decided to post some simple thoughts on a few of the shows I’ve watched recently. You can never go wrong with spontaneous blurbs!

Blassreiter – This show surprised me a bit by not sucking. I’ve watched up to episode twelve and as far as action shows go it’s actually more than decent. My one complaint would be how they killed off so many characters in one episode as if they’re really trying to illustrate that the show is entering a new phase. It really cheapened down all those deaths.

World Destruction – So far it’s just been a run-of-the-mill adventure show where nothing stands out except for the horrible animation. I mean my god it looks nasty sometimes. Still the show is not bad enough to drop it just yet.

Bounen no Xamdou – I was really excited when I found out about this show. It’s made by Bones and both character design and premise is similiar to Eureka 7. After watching three episodes I can say that the story is not identical to E7 but there are still enough similarities to make you smile. Awesome show so far and I can’t wait to get more.

Daughter of Twenty Faces – I was kind of disappointed to see Twenty Faces himself make an appearance just to disappear as quickly again. It would’ve been better to either keep him away until the shows climax or have him make a permanent comeback and form a superteam with Chiko. That would’ve been pretty cool actually, to see Chiko grow more and come closer to being an equal with him.

Hidamari Sketch x365 – What can I say, It’s Hidamari. I’m having a hard time relaying the feeling that fills me whenever I watch an episode so I’ll just say that the second season of one of the greatest shows ever carries on in the same way. A separate post will follow once I can gather enough of my thoughts about it in a coherent form.

Oh, and I finally became a member over at MAL. Please be my friend! ^^

Oh, oh, you make me want to watch Bounen no Xamdou now. Actually I don’t feel about 20 Mensou no Musume as you do – in fact, I found it pretty exciting fo them to kill off the main character and everyone else so that it would drive Chiko into quickly standing on her own feet and take her own decisions. Even though I kind of have put the series on hold right now, I am actually eager to see what happens next.

Also, if you allow me to give you a suggestion, I think you might like Natsume Yuujinchou as well 🙂

I think you confused my feelings for Daughter of Twenty Faces with Blassreiter, hehe. But now that you mention it the very same thing happened in Twenty Faces and I didn’t dislike it! I wonder why that is?

Alright, I’ll give Natsume Yuujinchou a go. It looks kinda interesting. 🙂
